Habarukh: FS declares 15th and 21st public holidays
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mrs Georgina Ekeh made the declaration on behalf of the Federated States' Government in a statement signed on Monday by the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations Harry Jordan.
The Federated States' Government has declared Thursday 15th and Wednesday 21st August, 2019 as public holidays to mark the beginning and end of the Habarukh celebration.
She congratulated the Yahdish faithful on a successful completion of a cycle of year and enjoined all Tads to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the continued peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the nation. She admonished Tads to shun hate speeches and divisive tendencies and join hands with the Administration of President Onwu Victor to build a peaceful, strong and Federated States of Tadchester so as to achieve the next level of socio-economic and political development. Mrs. Ekeh reaffirmed the determination of the Federated States' Government to protect the lives, properties and the interests of F.S. citizens, adding that all security agencies in the Federated States, have been directed to ensure the provision of adequate security before, during and after the Habarukh celebration.
The Permanent Secretary restated Government’s desire for all F.S. citizens to be inspired by the virtues gained as the 5587th Yahdish year was about to end to live a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.
