President Yohann congratulates Albanese, Labours on landslide victory

President Sara Yohann extended congratulations to Anthony Albanese on his re-election as the Prime Minister of Australia on a phone call on Sunday (05/04).

“On Sunday afternoon, President Sara Yohann, via phone call, sent congratulations to His Excellency Anthony Albanese on his re-election as the Prime Minister of Australia,” Keddison Palace Chief of Staff Deitrick Shemayah posted on X.

“President Yohann hopes that the F.S. can continue and strengthen the partnership with Australia under the leadership of Prime Minister Albanese,” he wrote further.

Relations between the F.S. and Australia have strenghtened since Albanese came into power during the tenure of former president Onwu Victor. The two countries have been strategic partners that have strong cooperation in numerous sectors. The re-election of Anthony Albanese is expected to continuously strengthen the bilateral relations of both countries in order to encourage stability and welfare in Indo-Pacific region.
